I use the replacement tray to start MP with my MCE remote. When I use the green button, MP starts in an inactive mode so that i cannot use the arrows to control MP; I have to click the window (fullscreen) with the mouse to get it active and then use the remote. If I start MP using the regular desktop icon, the problem isnt there, nor if I use "launch" via the tray... but you want to start MP from the sofa, right!? Whats wrong?

This is a long standing issue, and one that I'm trying to solve... I may try to incorporate the process MpFocus is using.

In the meantime, MPFocus is a good solution.

    Cheers,

Dang! I had a long post here about some issues and I evidently pressed the backward button. To cut it short, then:

Thank you both, it works now!

    Questions:

    1. The MCE replacement plugin + tray + MPFocus is a working setup which, however, consumes a lot of memory (15mb+) to solve some pretty basic problems (in my eyes but I'm no programmer). MPTray takes less memory but it won't work after you installed the MCE plugin. I'm pretty happy though.

    2. The focus problem, is that really a problem of MCE replacement plugin? It seems that all windows programs are focused when started. Isn't it the MP core that is lacking?

    Thank you!
