Back in the days when I installed my MediaPortal the first time I found a reg-hack along with a script or something that enabled the function to start MediaPortal using my FireDTV remote. Basically what it did was start MediaPortal and closed the “RemoteControl.exe” application. When MediaPortal.exe exited it started the “RemoteControl.exe” application again.
Being a dumb-ass I forgot to save the application/script and the settings to get this done when I upgraded and re-installed my HTPC.
No I don’t have any problems using the remote when MP is running, the problem is getting it running using the remote… I have searched the forums and I have googled my eyes out, just can’t find it : (
Anyone out there know what I’m talking about?
