i'm using a Hauppauge remote (RC6) and ir receiver. Windows installs the receiver with Ehome driver.
the remote works just fine in windows and also in Mediaportal I guess. But in the configuration I have it set as MCE and not Hauppauge. As long as it works leave it like this I guess_
My main question is, can I start mediaportal with the green button on the remote (the one that starts windows mediacenter if it is available). If so that woulod be nice. I saw an option that I can start mediaportal right away after starting windows but I want to try this option first. I looked in the mediaportal config but I think I have to set it in windows or not? I'm using windows XP Professional SP3 on this computer. I hope someone can help me. I installed nothing from Hauppauge. just plugged in the ir receiver and it worked after installing the rollup driver from Microsoft.
