    Hello everybody

Is there a way to start a program at resume only if the resume is triggered manually?
I'm using s4 mode on my pc and when I wake it I want to have mp started in a different mode than on
    automatic resume e.g. for recordings.
Is there a way to detect if the resume is manually triggered or not?
    Maybe in windows task scheduler?

    TIA

Perhaps with the use of the PowerScheduler++ start program parameter.
With this you can define a program running on hibernation and on startup.
With this you could save that this is an automated standby.

But in a normal environment a single seat system should never go to hibernate by user action due to the fact that recordings could be broken etc.

Why do you want to do that? Why do you need the information if it has been suspended manually or automatically perhaps there is another solution for you whole problem.

AW: start program only if resume is triggered manually

Actually I am using ps++ and I dont want to detect if the system hibernates automatically or not but
if it resumes because of an automatic task or because of a manually triggered resume.
To get "s4" and "not killing present recordings when hibernating" together I set up my system with the following
shut down sequence: live tv will be stopped and mp switches to home screen. When on home screen ps++ will hibernate the system after 2 minutes.
This way I can use s4 and will not kill present recordings because ps++ will wait for recordings before hibernating the system.
On resume mp will start and show tv guide. This is due to waf and my own preference.
Only problem is: when the system is being woken for an automatic task e.g. reboot or grabbing epg it will show tv guide all the time and won't hibernate at all.
That's why I want to differenciate between automatic resumes and user triggered ones.
I know it's pretty complicated and that using s3 would make things a whole lot easier but I don't want my system "running" on s3 all
the time especially when not using the computer for several days...
