Hi,

I have installed MediaPortal on a computer with Win XP Sp2. When I start media portal the window appear but it is completely white. Only the menu on the top of the window is accessible. I can use normally the Media Portal configuration program. What is the problem?

    Hi & welcome to forum,
Attach your logs to your post (you'll find them in MP installation folder\log, if you have vista they're in Program Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log)..
Also give us your system specs, maybe graphic card can't use DX 9

    Regards
    Roy

Ok I have finally the information. I have installed WinXP SP2 with ,NetFramework 3.0 The computer is a AMD Athlon 2.8. But probably my problem is the video card. It is only a ATI radeon 8M. The versin of media portal is 0.2.3.0

Geof, it probably is the gfx card, but since you've ignored all the questions from the above posters it's hard to say any more.

For system specs, were you prompted with a list of all the specs we need at the beginning? It's all important.
As well, as Ronisle pointed out, we need logs. He told you where to find these.

Welcome to the forum, but please understand that you have to help us to help you :)
