starting mplayer or wmp in fullscreen (1 Viewer)

I like the internal player in media portal, but I am having trouble playing some x264 videos. They play fine on mplayer, vlc, wmp, but not the internal player. When I choose to launch an external player, it always starts in a window, instead of fullscreen. Can anyone help me with starting mplayer in fullscreen? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Not to avoid the question, but what format are you X264 videos? AVI MKV? The internal player should (and does ) play both of them and I think is better than the external players because it works way better with the remote control for me.

So I'd troubleshoot why your videos aren't working with the internal player.

its only some videos that aren't working properly. The ones i'm having problems with are .wmv files. The screen gets multi colored lines rolling up it, and the video doesn't play. When I exit to the menu, the lines continue rolling.

Oh .WMV ... sorry I can't help you there... I haven't played that filetype in a few years.

fixed it. I upgraded to the newest version of media portal.
