This is a rather silly question....
I would like to know what event it is that turns on and off the Set Top Box (STB). For example, when you enter into My TV, you select that button "TV On" and TV auto-magically appears in the window. This also happens if you have the configuration set to automatically turn on TV when entering My TV.
So what I would like to happen is each time I turn on the TV in Mediaportal that it blasts the power to my STB. And when I leave My TV for watching a video, a recorded show, DVD, music, whathaveyou I would like the STB to turn off.
What I am currently doing is just leaving the STB on 24/7. It has occurred to me that might not be a good long term solution
In the Event Mapping section of the MCERP, I don't see one that says "TV ON" or "TV OFF". I do however see some that say "Recorder_TV Start" or something like that. Are these the correct ones?
Thanks!
