I thought 1.4 was supposed to fix the problem when comming from standby and the bug (windows feature) where MePo ends up in the left upper corner in a 1024x768 window size.

Is it supposed to be fixed, or am i only having this problem and should i do a complete reinstall of the system?

First was wondering if anyboy else had a simular problem. I could give my specs. Logs i'll gather when it happens next time.
I'm using an Asrock Vision 3d 137b (i3 370, geforce 425gt, 8gb) connected with HDMI to an Onkyo TX-727 which is connected to a Sharp 46" LCD.
    Using MePo 1.4

    Logs are included.

These log files are from this morning, I've woken up the system and the MePo screen was in the upper left corner again. I closed down MePo and gathered the log files.

I'm experiencing this on daily basis. Am I the only one?

Sometimes it does come out of standby without any problems, but often my remote doesn't work. I have to kill the mediaportal.exe and start MePo again. Afther this it runs fine.

Some other times when it is in the upper left corner i can select the close button, but then mediaportal.exe doesn't close. I have to kill it manually agian.

Thanks mhoogenbosch - I think these logs contain the required info. (y)

I have no idea how you analyse these, but I'll have a go. :)
I guess you look at the display change events?

Summary: it looks like the system woke at 08:03:42,500, though it is a bit strange as there is no power broadcast message. It is like the system was just suddenly awake. The first power broadcast message is detected later at 08:03:43,061.
Detected display resolution from 1920x1080 => 1024x768 (small window size) at 8:03:51,064... I guess because the display was not woken or HDMI connection was not fully established.
Then we have that display change event at 08:03:55,140. I don't know what the change in track size means.
Finally we have the change at 08:03:57,437. Surely we have somehow missed a change somewhere there, as the resolution was not 1920x1080 at the end of the last change.
I note there is also no detection of whether the display is on or off.

    Bad hardware behaviour?

It's an asrock 3dvison 137b. It has an Geforce 425GT mobile adapter.

I do have some problems with waking up the system. Only by pressing the powerbutton it wakes up from sleep (or a WOL package). It doens't respond to my remote as wakeup event. Which is weird because it did with my previous windows install.

Is there something i can do, check something or anything. Could i try for instance newer or older GFX drivers, or is that pointless? I haven't got a clue how to troubleshoot this.

So does anyone have an idea?

I never had these problems when the option 'restart mepo on resume' was there, but since it was removed and the idea by having this option removed is to streamline problems regarding these issues, i think it would be great if we could investigate further.

    Hi,
Do you have a VGA and a HDMI cable connected to the TV. If so try unplugging the VGA cable from the TV and see if that makes a difference.
