Also where is your MP installation folder ?
Maybe it can be that too (default folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal)

I used the default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal

Really strange, it's like MP can't enumerate Audio device:

Unable to cast object of type 'MediaPortal.Plugins.Process._MMDeviceEnumerator' to type 'MediaPortal.Mixer._AEDeviceEnumerator'.

I don't know why, i'm on x64 Win7 too, i have try to reproduce disable/enable BASS Engine and try different Audio device (realtek)
Is it possible that you test too ? (Disable BASS not sure if related and try Realtek digital/Speaker etc.) maybe update Sound Drivers.

Maybe @te3hpurp can explain why it failed ?

In music section in config but i'm pretty sure it' s not related (You can see Player : BASS or internal player)

Tried it again with MP in debug mode (all plugins disabled) but still no volume control (see logs).
Newest realtek drivers are downloading...
Next step I'll disable BASS Engine and install the ne drivers.

Problem still there, volume control and mute still not working for with maste volume
Any other idea?

Have updated to latest Creative drivers but still no change. Each time setting goes back to wave. What is PS++?[DOUBLEPOST=1346602809][/DOUBLEPOST]Have updated audio renderer from above link. Still set on wave.

Damn no, it's working just fine with direct sound...
Don't know how I could missed that. I was sure I tested it as well.

Does that mean volume control does not work at all as soon as MPAR is used?
