Hi,
I'm looking to stop a paused video after its been paused for 300 seconds.
My problem is that I have a plasma TV and as everyone know, still images aren't good for the TV they create ghost image and burn the phosphor of those pixels faster. Anyway, sometimes when we pause a video we think it's only for a few seconds or minutes but sometimes something come up and you video stay there still... Burning the tv... And since you're listening to a video the screen blanking doesn't get called and the monitor doesn't get turned off (option enabled).
So I wish I could make MediaPortal to stop the video that is paused for more than 300 seconds, then after 300 seconds more the screen would go blank and the tv would turn off after 15 minutes (tv setting) because it doesn't have a signal anymore.
On a LCD TV ones would not have this problem, LCD doesn't burn you're flipping crystals instead of burning phosphor.
