Have you tried starting MP via a batch file in the startup folder with a delay ? - this should mimic a delayed manual startup. e.g. for Vista, the batch file commands might be (for a 30 second delay): choice /T 30 /D y > nul MediaPortal.exe (The switch "/T n" specifies a wait period of n seconds. The switch "/D y" creates a default choice of "yes". The unwanted text output of the command is redirected to the null device (nul).) I sometimes get problems with DVD menu navigation too (Vista32+EVR+MS DVD Navigator+PDVD7 codec - the best combination of filters I can find) and I always start MP manually..... Tony
