No-Voice-Problem
Hi folks,
I have the same problem. When I use the analog output of my Creative XiFi Audio the sound has stops and crackings. It sounds like Using the digital output there is no voice. The rest of the sound from the center channel ist in normal loudness.
I tryed out 3 different soundcards always with the same result. Also changing the codecs doesn't solve the problem. Even reinstalling the whole system does not fix it. The try with disabling the onboard soundcard also didn't help.
Using the same codec (AC3) in different programms (Media Player Classic, Power DVD 8, Mediaportal) ends with three different result:
Media Player Classic gives out the Front-Left-Sound on the front left speaker. Front-Right-Sound works also, Center-Sound comes out of the left and right speaker (instead of the center speaker). The rear sound won't come at all.
Power DVD has the same problems but gives out the center sound on the center speaker.
MP even gives not out the center sound. Neither on the left and right speaker nor on the center speaker.
Using the codec from PowerDVD results in an correct sound for Power DVD, but MP stays silent.
After having switched, changed and configured for days and weeks I'm sick of that "No-Voice, No-Sound"-Problem. The only possible solution for me is changing the motherboard. The motherboard is the only part that I didn't change yet. I have no glue how to solve that problem.
Is there somebody that can give me an idea?
