I have a TVServer with the specs above and a seperate htpc client.
I've been experiencing a regular problem in that for some reason live tv channels specifically ITV1 and recordings sometimes stutter. I've eliminated CPU issues and network..... It does not allways stutter, it mostly only stutters when there is something I really want to watch.
now here is the strange part.
I monitored the tv server using "manual control" in setup, i showed
1 DvbS idle
2 DvbT idle
3 DvbT idle
All normal so far, so I set the client to record two channels and watch another, thus using up all my tuners. Now "manual control showed me this"
1 DvbS idle
2 DvbT Timeshifting ITV1
2 DvbT Recording ITV4
3 DvbT Recording Cannel 4
Why is card two duplicated? Obviously I only have the single channel sat card and the dual channel dvb-t card so what gives? is this nothing, just a problem with the "manual control" page or is it the cause of the stuttering?
