just had a clean setup with W7, MP, MS SQL Express and SAF 4
since i changed to streamed MP i experience a horizontal line shift in the lower area of the picture.
no matter which display at what refresh rate...
no matter if liveTV (PDVD9) or Video (SAF4 ffdshow)
so i am guessing it came with streamed MP
is there anything that this skin&plugin breaks if not configured correctly?

Do you have V-Sync on? If not, enable "Vertical Sync" in your Catalyst Control Center and see if it helps. Maybe a screenshot of your problem will be helpful too.

erstmal danke für die schnelle hilfe.
das hat das problem tatsächlich behoben
bei schnellen schwenks ist der untere teil des bilds immer ein wenig zurückgefallen was sich dann in einer dünnen "kontrastlinie" wiedergespiegelt hat.
jetzt hatte ich bisher eingestellt "AUS falls nicht von der Software festgelegt" was offensichtlich nicht geholfen hat
inwieweit hängt das jetzt mit dem anti-aliasing zusammen?
ich habe nämlich bei
MP=best (da es BOB nicht mehr gibt)
SAF4=OFF
ATI SMOOTHVISION HD=Anwendungseinstellung verwenden
ATI Adaptives Anti-Aliasing=Qualität

seitdem ich das neue setup (s.o.) habe funktioniert KabelBW HD einwandfrei

thanks for your support
it really solved the glitch
until then i had ATI CCC configured for "OFF - if not requested by Software" which obviously did not help
how does this in any way connect to anti aliasing?
i have the following setup and am unsure if it is optimal
MP=best (since BOB is not available anymore)
SAF4=OFF
ATI SMOOTHVISION HD=use Software configuration
ATI Adaptives Anti-Aliasing=Quality

the glitch is back again
so obviously the roblems somewhere deeper
i am thinking about using my older ATI drivers that always worked fine...
