StreamedMP Database music. (1 Viewer)

Hello, i am currently configuring mediaportal for my music.
I am trying to get a database-based style in the music section but somehow I cant get it working all I get is the lame folder lay out. I use StreamedMP and here I have to create my own menu. With video's however I can choose for Videos (Database) and Video. But with music I do not see this option, can anyone help me with this.

What I want is when I click Music in the main menu it shows me the albums covers, or just like moving pictures: Artists/Albums/Genres/Year and so on.

Sounds like you are using "Shares" view. In the music section access the hidden menu by clicking the right arrow on your remote, there you will see options for "View by" and "Layout". View by "album artists" is probably what you want. Try all the Layouts to see which one you like the best.

After you advise I tried this. But mediaportal does not see any albums tracks or whatever. Does mediaportal scan ID3 tags or filenames or something?

I Got it, something went wrong with scanning my database I guess, I deleted the folders and added them again and after that everything went fine. Thanks anyway.
