Dear Mr. Bean.
The information for which MediaPortal versions a skin works is only a reference point for MediaPortal or an indication of whether a skin has been tested with a MediaPortal version.
With an update cycle of currently 6 months, not all skin developers have the possibility to test their skin with every version.
However, since changes in the skin area are only made at irregular intervals under MediaPortal, they are usually also executable in the successor Mediaportal version.
In the case of MediaPortal 1, new skin versions were recently necessary for the following MediaPortal versions.
-Mediaportal 1.4
-Mediaportal 1.7x
-MediaPortal 1.23
(Older skins are compatible but may lack functions that are supported from MP1.23. )
Furthermore, it is of course possible that a skin does not support all MediaPortal plugins that a MediaPortal user would like to use.
