    Hi all I would like to use MediaPortal on my laptop while the main MediaPortal install is on my HomeServer. there I have all my videos and Music I would like to "stream" to my laptop MediaPortal install.

    Is this possible ?

    Just share your media folder(on your Home Server) over the network. On your laptop configure MP to look for these shares. This is how I get to the media files on my server from all the other PC's at home.

    Install the TV server on your HomeServer and you can also stream real time TV to your laptop
