Hi friends,
i have problem with recordings which could be observed only sometimes.
I have lags in recorded video.

I have applied a patch found here in forums and the problem get smaller, but still its not confortable to wach it.

Please if you have some ideas what can i do please let me know.

I checked the signal quality is 99, signal level shows 0 (card driver probably dont support it).

Is there a way to log for example the signal strength when recording starts?
Would putting the timeshift buffer on ramdisk help?

Please let me know.
:D

seems your cabling is broken ..

but very weird.. signal level 0 ... zero .. and still 99% quality .. :D
but nevertheless.. check the cabling.. and afterwards check your own logfiles.. above entry should have at least a better signal level then zero ..

    also your EPG gets corrupted..
08-04-2011 17:06:10.937 PMT Pid wasn't found on the PAT. Channel may have moved, try a new channel scan.

this is also an indication that the signal level is faulty.. it cant read the EPG because of lack of signal ..

    good luck...

    Hello,
today i have done a test.
I started recording and was watching the same channel on STB. There were no issues with signal at all.
Strength was 99 and quality also.

But when i watched video recorded with TvServer there were Stutterings.

I will try to delete all channels and add them back, maybe there is some problem becouse of upgrade of MP to recent version.

Also, the card is probably not reporting signal lvl, it could happen (its in mp wiki).

    I let you know.
