Just installed a fresh copy of Win7 Pro and with it SAF4.1RC2 and MP1.1 RC1

However when I go to tune to a TV channel it takes about 20 secs before it actually tunes and then on the SD channels it stutters but not on my HD channels (BBC HD and LuxeHD so far)

I never had this on my 1.0.2 MP so I'm wondering what I'm missing?

Also when it is tuning a channel my version on NOD goes scanning for goodness knows what for a while and then stops (yes, it appears to coincide with the delay in tuning)

Help much appreaciated

ps. recorded tv from my old MP plays fine, movies SD/HD play fine.

AW: Stuttering SD TV and Loooong time to tune

Interrestingly I have a similar problem with stutter.
Only SD is affected not HD (however I only have HD in 720p so maybe it is an interlacing problem).
It is not codec related (happens with PDVD9/FFDSHOW and MS codec).
SVN 24669 and before do not show this problem.

Well it seems that it might be hardware related somehow - as I remembered I had an issue with my terratec card in 1.0.2 and disabled it; forgot about that this time and it was using this due to card priority; I disabled this card a bumped up another card and now the stuttering goes away.

Strange as it is exactly the same aerial cable just plugged into a different tuner card.

I wonder whether its anything to do with the pcie freq?

Still doesnt stop the long load up time whilst nod is scanning - is there anyway to stop nod scanning on channel change?
