Stuttering TV on DVB-T cards (1 Viewer)

Just reinstalled MP (now 1.1.0A) onto a new partion as I've done some hardware changes to my htpc though now I have an issue with the TV on my DVB-T cards stuttering somewhere between 3-10secs. My DVB-S card is fine though (hence I suspect signal)

However, the spanner in this theory is when I run an older version of MP1.0.2 from another partion on either XP or Win7 does not have this problem at all so I am a bit flummuxed as to what is causing this.

As for codecs I have installed only SAF. The signal strength and quality is at the top when I am scanning for channels from the DVB-T cards so I am at a bit of a loss and it really is annoying so any help in finding the problem and solving it would be much appreciated as I don't fancy having to restore a base image and reinstall , say 1.0.2,

Tried the dvbfix and that doesn't seem to work either

Thanks

Hi there.

I have the same tv-card but running with onbard radeon 3200. I had same problem with a lot of random stutter. Downgrading to an earlier catalyst version did it for me. Double checked it by upgrading to latest 9.7 and stutter was back immidiately. Running with version 9.4 now and all is smooth. Perhaps you could try that.

OK might try that but, if the feed off the DVBS card is ok then is this then not the right solution *shrug*
