I'm experiencing some similar issues.
Playing back recorded TV is always nice.
Watching live TV can experience some problems like very bad lipsync and stuttering video. When in timeshift mode it often helps to pause a bit.
I'm not posting a bug on this now as I haven't yet understood this issue good enough. Please PM me if you want me to post it or help test something.

Hi guys,

Any updates on this? I am having the same problem but note that it happens only when the machine has been brought back from standby.

On a fresh start it's fine with timeshift set to autostart. Disabling timeshift beofre entering standby also appears to work. Once I resume and switch to live TV I can then restart timeshifting without issue but it's manual and not WAF aware. :)

I believe there might be two separate issues as sometimes I can pause or rewind a little and fix the problem but after a resume from standby it always happens and a restart of MP is required to fix it (which is no good if recordings are running at the same time).

This is the only issue I am having in an otherwise very fine product!

I use MCE as well but must say I am extremely impressed with the advances MP has made in recent times. It's so refreshing to use software that works and gives me the options and the control I want without a thousand reg hacks (if it's possible at all on mce ).

Kudos to the MP devs and keep it up!

Cheers,

Arkay.

P.S. I should also mention that it appears to be codec independant and that I have tried various audio output methods (default directsound, Waveout etc, SB audigy direct etc). Am happy to file a bug and provide template/logs if more info is required.
