I was getting heavy video corruption while watching live TV (Perth Australia) after a while, noticably mostly channel 7 but other channels too. It works OK anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour and then starts to glitch every 30 seconds or so. The glitching gets worse until the video gets stuck in a 1 second loop with heavy video corruption, although the sound continues OK. I got fed up with this so yesterday I wiped and reinstalled.

Brand new fresh install onto 120gb SSD, Win 7 Home Premium x64. Installed Windows, all updates, then MP 1.6. Default codecs. No recordings. This morning it is still doing it. Can anyone give me an idea how to fix it?

Thanks for your reply Owlsroost, I consider the fault non-repeatable because for some reason it happens mostly in the mornings and most mornings I'm at work. I've attached logs since yesterday's rebuild, since 3pm or so the system has been working OK, it's this morning that the problem happened again if that helps. I look forward to seeing what you come up with :)

From the continuity errors in the TsWriter log I'd say your signal quality may not be ideal.

Signal quality can vary through the day with the weather, which could explain the variation in what you see.

Different tuners also have different tolerances for various signal characteristics including strength and quality. In other words, you may see different behaviour depending on which tuner (Hauppauge or WinFast) TV Server uses.

Finally, you may also see behaviour change when more than one tuner is active.

I'd check if the behaviour is the same on all tuners and when any splitters you've installed are removed from the signal path.
