Hello,

I recently upgraded to the latest version of the tv-series.
I'm really fond of the option to download subtitles from with in mediaportal, but having upgraded to the latest version i'm experincing problems.

I'm using:
mediaportal v1.02
Vobsub 2.23
K-lite pack 5.7
MP-TVSeries-2.3.3589

In this set up i can still download the subtitles with the use of the plug in, this goes well. But when playing the episode, the subtitles aren't showed. Nor is there the subtitle possibility shown in the info(MCE remote)/f9 menu.

When looking at the subtitle filename it becomes clear that the file name contains the language of the subtitle. But vobsub won't play this because the file name isn't the same.

So how am I going to make this work? When using th ffdshow subtitle option i loose the possibilty to turn the subtitles of in mediaportal.
Is there another tool like vobsub that allows the language in the file name?

By the way i had to install vobsub instead of directvobsub to make the subtitles work. is that ok?

Is there some reason why you don't use MPC-HC subtitle engine which is inbuilt in Mediaportal?

    No, no specific reason.

Is this turned on, under configuration/ video's/ subtitles?

If so then this is turned on, but if i recall correctly it's stated that this only works when the proper tools are installed?
If not then I don't know it.

    I've made some progress:
when using the MPC-HC subtitle engine.

If I use a predetermined subtitle folder it works. For example when placing the subtitles in the folder d:\subtitles MP shows the subtitles with the language in the name and even shows the possibillity to switch.
But since MP tv series places the sub in the root directory it doesn't work as intended.

I've been figuring out how to use the position relative to the video frane, but i don't get it working. Does anyone know how to set this when te .srt is in the same folder as the video (.avi)?
