subtitles covered when forwarding/rewinding (1 Viewer)

Windows Version: W7 x64 Ultimate

I really like the improvements in the 'info' window when pressing the 'i' button during playback but there is 1 thing that I wonder if it's only me that uses this function: sometimes it's happens that I forward/rewind with double the speed and it's still possible to follow most of the times by reading the subtitles.
By moving the slider to the bottom of the screen, the subtitles are covered which I think is a step backwards.

Compliments though on the responsiveness during forward/rewind!

Am I really the only one or did I post this in the wrong forum?

Since there is no sound during forward/rewind/pause, the only indication you have are the subtitles and if, for instance you didn't understand some foreign language - english is not our first language + we are surrounded by a lot of countries with different languages and receive tv stations - being able to see the subtitles is a big aid.

I really hope this issue will get some attention/consideration.
