Hi, I'm having problems with displaying embedded .SRT subtitles in .MKV files. MP sees the subtitles track, but even when turning subtitles on, nothing is displayed.
If I enable DirectVobSub post-processing, the subtitles work fine, but the DXVA HW acceleration turns off, which makes it impossible for me to see many hi-rez movies. Did anyone ever encounter this? What could be done to enable subtitles?

Thank you,

Aleksey

There are currently no way to enable subtitles and also get DXVA acceleration at the same time with MP internal player.
This is due to the fact that filter is not supported together with DXVA (not MPs fault)

The only solution is to configure MP to use MPC as an external player.

Some people are however experimenting with subtitles in MP together with DXVA but nothing useable yet.
