Support downloading and selection of multiple backdrops (1 Viewer)

Ofcourse, I know there is already an issue for this on the tracker: Issue 212 - moving-pictures - Support downloading and selection of multiple backdrops - Google Code

But seeing as this for is a high priority, and it will be v0.8.0 before this will be added, I was wondering how I can apply the .patch file provided as an early solution further down in the comments.

it's not for selecting multiple backdrops, just for selecting -a- backdrop.
It's on hold waiting for refactoring the code to be able to support multiple backdrops (as with covers)

applying patches is something you might want to do when you are able to compile your own dll from the source, not just apply the patch to your exisiting dll.
Concluding from your "how" question I am thinking you do not.

You are mistaken. themoviedb.org provides multiple backdrops.

yeah... i can cycle through backdrops on themoviedb.org... just not anywhere in 'moving pictures'.

it should be as easy to cycle through backdrops as with posters.
the poster left-and-right buttons is a simple and perfect feature.
backdrops needs the same usability.
