True, but I think this is quite manageable. And as for API's they can be quite disappointing at times. I'll see how it goes, and if I get stuck, I can always request the api-details

My church started using a ChurchTV platform from the company streamit a few months back. A few weeks ago they published news that they have released an API. http://nl.streamit.eu/nieuws/content_api/ (The news is in dutch). They have mostly dutch churches, see: https://eventcaster.streamit.eu/portal_stations?locale=en Unfortunately you have to contact them to get access to the API.

Anyone of you interested in implementing support? If not i could try myself, but i am not yet familiar with the onlinevideo's framework and tools.
    Done!

I'm just wondering if you happen to be interested in getting HGTV.com working? The .ca is working, but since I'm in the US I don't have access to it and it would really help my wife if we could get HGTV.

I requested it a bit earlier in the thread, but the user who said he'd put it on his list then said that he probably wouldn't have time to do it. So, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask again.

    Thanks a lot!

HGTV is done. Further support for HGTV will be provided in the North American thread.

Thanks doskabouter for your efforts! The basics seem to work, but i have a few request. One thing which currently makes it unuseable for me: Buffering takes ages. It looks to me as if it is downloading the whole file first and then play. Is it possible to play it more "streaming" / buffer ahead? When on the site i have instant play when using the on site player. The second thing i really miss is the description of the video. This can give me usefull info like what songs will be sung etc. Lastly i am missing part of the channel title. It now for instance gives "De Bron" where as on the site it also give the info that it is from Amersfoort.

Please don't take this as criticism, i am very happen with what you have done for me.

I will send a message to the firm asking for the details of the API btw, just to see if that can make our lives easier, or even offer more features.

About the buffering: I think it takes a while to go to the (default: 2) percent of the file, because they are pretty long (1h30+).
You can always press play while buffering to start playback immediately. Mind you, if it turns out to be a slow stream it could cause some hickups if playback is faster than the download

Edit: the place (Amersfoort) is already in the description. And I don't see a description on the website itself, so I don't know what you would like to see there.
