I'm having problems getting the analog channels to work for my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 900 USB stick.
The analog channels are working fine with the (terrible) WinTV software from Hauppauge.
I found that I have to install SoftMCE to use MediaPortal, but I could not do that because of an error for model 65008.
It seems that the HVR 900 has two different HW;
WinTV-HVR-900 / 930 (Model 65008 / 65009)
WinTV-HVR-900 / 930 (Model 65018 / 65019)
So, I understand that the required SoftMCE can only be installed on the latter models.
Questions:
1) Is it correct that I will not be able to use MediaPortal for the analog channels using HVR 900 model 65008?
2) Is it possible that that will be supported in the future (it works in WinTV from Hauppauge)?
3) Any suggestions how I can get it to work?
