Hello everybody,

I just have discovered this software. Unfortunately my 2 Tv cards seems not to supported. They don’t appear in the list in the configuration of Mediaportal.

• Hauppauge WinTv PCI chip 848 (in the compatibility list contains only the 878, but the drivers are the same and the chip very similar)
• Asus My Cinema P7131 (which is nevertheless in the compatibility list)

So if you have an idea, please let me now.

You should state the TV engine version you are using (probably "default" TVE2?).

Your card nr. 2 is a software encoding TV-card (don't know about first, but my guess is that this is SW also). These are only somewhat supported by MP. There are many posts about these Asus cards - try searching.

My tip would be to try TVE3 - perhaps better support there? See: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/TV-Engine_0.3/tvcards
