I downloaded the support tool from the hardware template support forum link today and when I tried to run it nothing was populated in the pull-down menu and when trying to go to the next step it tells me there is information missing - duh. Not able to provide much info in this manner.
This is a different computer than my HTPC computer. And MP RC3 work good on it (I don't have a video card installed).
Dell OptiPlex GX270
P4-2.6Ghz
512M RAM
XP Pro - Service Pack 2
Video - Integrated Intel 82865G
DirectX - 9.0c - all tests passed with DirectX diag tool
Is there a different version of the support tool? Note there is no version on the initial window or an about pull-down menu so I don't know what version it is.
Any clue why this support tool doesn't seem to work on this computer but MP does?
