I'm looking for a way to switch views via either a key or remote (using IRSS). Ideally I'd like to rotate through them (like a "Next View" command) or at the very least popup the view list dialog. I don't mind manually editing the config files like I've had to do to handle TV Series.

The problem is that views don't seem to have a window ID nor can I find a related command. Any suggestions?

    Hi,
AFAIR the Generic Keyboard plugin can handle that.

I don't see anyway it can.

I'm talking about views. E.g., being able to switch from Video Title view to Video Genre view. The only way I know to switch views is to scroll all the way left/top (depending on layout) so the left menu opens, scroll down to Switch View, then pick the view you want from the Views menu dialog.

I want to press a single key/remote to switch a specific view or rotate through them, like SHOW_NEXT_SUBTITLE does for subs. Being able to similarly switch layouts would be nice, too.

I also would like this option, to simply put the "0-10" switch view options on a keyboard shortcut. This would allow to faster switch the sort options from rating to year or type.

    thx
