Have searched and cant find a similar problem hope someone can help.

Ok, fresh install of MP RC1 with latest SVN. Analog cable channels found, HDTV channels found. In MyTV the analog channels work find, but when going to view the HD channels MP hangs for a min and then gives the Timeshift error and asks if I want to go to previous channel, after choosing OK it takes me back the last channel.

Using DVBViewer with the same codecs as in MP everything works just fine. I had this working the first time I installed MP and was testing but only had audio no video. Went to update to the latest SVN this weekend and now have nothhing.

WAF for DVBT/HD channels has now gone down. :)
:D

OK, well i think i figured it out and it dosent seem like its good news for me atm. Seems that MP is not turning on the Avermedia card. If I boot into Blindows and start MP TV Server and do a scan nothing comes up. If I close MP TV Server and start DVBViewer the channel is loaded and the card turned on. Then I go back into MP TV Server and can then, if I'm lucky, the channel search will continue and it will find the DVBT/HD channels. But mostly it gives me an error that the card is already in use. Seems like I got lucky the first time when MP found the DVBT/HD channels.

Anyone have a simmilar issue with Avermedia cards..?

EDIT: Attached log file

Hope that someone can help!

Heres what ive found out after fiddling today. Did a graphedit and seems as though everything should be working fine. I changed around some codecs, from ATI H264 to Cyberlinks. Only saw 1 sec of video and no audio. But time shifting is working. Then the analog channels went to hell.

Would really appriciate some help in getting analog dvbt and HD setup. I think i just need a few pointers from the smart guys.

Thanks!
(hopefully not writing to myself again :) )

Deleted all the codecs I had and tried again from the begining. Got the DVB and HD channels to show up as well as the analog. But now the sound and picture is stuttering really bad.

In DVBViewer I get the best picture and sound with the combo of Elecard MPEG2 decoder with FFDSHOW for Audio. Unchanged rendering with EVR. Perfect picture. Did a graph for it in GraphEdit and was ok.

When I do the same setup in MP all I get is stuttering. Any info on how to tweak MP to get the same PQ that I get in DVBViewer and no stuttering?

Thanks!

Finally fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got rid of all the codecs ALL of them, and just installed PDVD8 and Elecarad (sp). Works like a charm, still not sure why the ATI MPEG2 decoder is stuttering like hell, it gives me the best picture in DVBViewer. O well, maybe it will work later. FFDSHOW looks like crap so I uninstalled it, first time I've ever seen FFDSHOW look so bad.
