Hi,

when switching from any HD channel to any SD channel, MediaPortal (frontend) will crash. Switching from SD channel to SD channel, SD channel to HD channel and HD channel to HD channel works without problem. Attached is the error log. I have this beaviour since MP1.1final. With MP1.1RC6 this problem did not occured.

As codec I use saf500svn100625.

Regards
Bjoern

Odd, since there is not a sigle change related to the areas that could be causing the crash. I bet the issue is also reproducible with RC6.

do you get the same issue if you use a different H264 codec (MPC codec for example)

It would by far not be the first time to see SAF causing such a major issue.

Configure MediaPortal to use the Windows DTV codecs for video:mpeg2, h.264 and audio.
Then do as the guidline says (WE NEED ALL LOGS!!)

Use the "MediaPortal Debug" shortcut and test again.

If the issue occurs again, attach the created logs.zip.

For the record, i am tuning to the same SAT as you do, watching FTA and encrypted HD / SD channels.
No issues. So my bet is on SAF.
