Switching from a channel playing AC3 audio to one playing MPEG1/2 audio fails (the MPEG audio doesnt play and wont play again until MP is closed). Happens when either the Microsoft DTV codec or the Cyberlink Powerdvd 9 codec is used as the AC3/MPEG audio decoder. The "MPC - MPA Decoder Filter" seems to work ok. Havent tried any others.
Logs below are created using a fresh MP installation with no plugins using Cyberlink Powerdvd 9 codec for audio
To replicate: (must have "prefer AC3 audio" option enabled)
Tune to BBC1 (MPEG audio) - plays fine
Now tune to BBC HD (AC3 audio) - plays fine
Tune back to BBC1 - audio doesnt play
Tune back to BBC HD - plays fine
All other channels with AC3 will still play. All channels with MPEG audio now wont play, and wont until MP is closed and opened again.
