Switching from a channel playing AC3 audio to one playing MPEG1/2 audio fails (the MPEG audio doesnt play and wont play again until MP is closed). Happens when either the Microsoft DTV codec or the Cyberlink Powerdvd 9 codec is used as the AC3/MPEG audio decoder. The "MPC - MPA Decoder Filter" seems to work ok. Havent tried any others.

Logs below are created using a fresh MP installation with no plugins using Cyberlink Powerdvd 9 codec for audio

To replicate: (must have "prefer AC3 audio" option enabled)

Tune to BBC1 (MPEG audio) - plays fine
Now tune to BBC HD (AC3 audio) - plays fine
Tune back to BBC1 - audio doesnt play
Tune back to BBC HD - plays fine

All other channels with AC3 will still play. All channels with MPEG audio now wont play, and wont until MP is closed and opened again.

I see a similar issue when changing from AC3 to AAC channels using ffdshow for AC3 and monogram from AAC.
If I have prefer AC3 on and tune from a AC# enabled channel to an AAC one I get a complete lock up of MediaPortal.

If I change codecs to use AC3filter instead of ffdshow for AC3 it works but curiously, the AC3 filter remains in use on all channels once I've tuned to an AC3 on. ie it seems to become the default once its been used once.

Same here. But not a major issue though, because PDVD9 for both MPEG and H264 and ffdshow for AC3 and Monogram for aac solves this problem for me. With me the missing audio after channelchange happens when I use DScaler audiofilter for AC3 instead of ffdshow.

Didn't think there was support for ffdshow audio on ACC livetv or .ts? My setup won't allow it atleast.

Using Windows 7 audio codec and changing the MPEG1 to AC3 audio stream fails -> bug.

Could somebody provide some logs with SVN >=25151 ? Problem could be solved by this one.

I'm absolutly not able to reproduce the issue with 252xx and I would avoid to revert SVN on main HTPC.:(
