Sync multiple libraries (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I've been using MP for many years, but recently I bought a NAS and I wanted to have all my movies, thumbnails and fanart inside this NAS and multiple clients areound the house to access the library and receive the streamed file.

I could not find a way with MP and I decided to give a go to XBMC following this guide:

This worked fine but I really hate some XBMC functionality (and community members.. poor support and very rude people).


I was thinking if the sync options was possible with MP or not. I'd be very happy to go back to MP but I really need this functionality!

Can someone help me please?

You can used a shared database, see link here:

Note that caveats, though. It doesn't work real well for having multiple machines updating at once, for example, so I'd recommend shutting off the "scan for changes" in Moving Pictures and TVSeries plugins, and update manually from a single machine.
