Hi people,
This really doesn't have to do with MP that much (I think), but maybe one of you guys have experienced the same problem. A few weeks ago I got my Media PC and I'm totally happy with it. I installed a legal version of XP MCE 2005 and of course Media Portal.
My problem is as follows: When my PC is doing nothing (just desktop) it toggles stand-by mode. After a few minutes doing nothing it just jumps into stand-by and when it's IN stand-by it IMMEDIATELY jumps on again!
Even when I manually put it in stand-by mode, it starts again immediately, so I can't put it in stand-by mode.
So, the first thing I checked was the 'Energy settings', but it has not been configured to go to stand-by mode.
When MP is running in its homescreen, it also toggles the stand-by mode, BUT, when I listen to music or watch DVD or TV-Series (awesome plug-in) it doesn't do that (going to stand-by).
Another strange problem occurs when I put it into sleep mode. Sometimes (not always) it spontaneously reboots after the 'going into sleep mode' screen (after it's done) in stead of going off.
Does this sound familiar in any way? I don't know if it's going into stand-by mode always after the same time, but it's quite annoying, I'd say it happens once every 4 minutes.
