TBS 6920 New install No free card (1 Viewer)

Hi,

new on here my first attempt to MP and a media build
Installed TBS 6920 and complete at scan in the uk on Eurobird at 28.2.
Channels found and listed in tv server but when i go to MP it says no free card available.
Tried switch CAM on/off and also set up a delay for card recognition but no luck.
Also switched off MCE media services to stop conflict....

Really stuck now, any ideas. The tv listing has the channels listed but no joy.

Hi,

been playing with settings. Added channels to a favorite list. Since doing this i do not get the no card error. The MP screen just goes blank. Bringing up Task manager says MP is running but i cant do anything.

Please help!

One thing ive noticed when i am on my tv server setup and have the option to preview a channel i just get a black preview screen. Is this related to drivers?

I have a Sapphire Radeon HD5450 installed. (1GB DDR3)

here are my log files. hope they are correct.
my system is a dell vostro 230. pentium dual core 3.2 ghz with 2GB ram
running windows 7 home premium.
install a Sapphire Radeon HD5450 PCIe
also a TBS 6920 DBS2 single card tuner PCIe

I am not an expert on reviewing logs and am a Docs member, but hopefully someone else might be able to give your logs a more detailed review. However a couple of points which might help:

1) You will want to turn the CAM off, since you are not using a CAM to view this channel.
2) It looks like you have two DVB-S/S2 cards, are they both connected to an LNB and tuned?
3) If you are now not getting any "No Signal" errors, have you setup your codecs correctly?

well my card supposedly has tv and radio. is that what you see?

yes cam is switched off.

i dont get a no signal error...currently it just hangs when at the mediaportal screen and at home....

hi all,

thanks for the help . Seems to be working now. It was to do with not setting up favourites it seems. Put them in and off it went....strange though.
