[QUOTE="Trciky1024, post: 1107865, member: 134458"] I have a new install of Media portal 1.8, I have added the pcie card and installed the latest driver, this in device manager is ok and reports no errors. in tv server I can only see one of the 4 tuners, tuner D. this also works and I can scan for channels and watch etc. This has been installed using the lasted drive listed on their website. - 1.0.2.4 I have also tried an old driver I had stored: 1.0.1.5 The 1.0.1.5 driver actually installs correctly again showing no errors and reports to media portal their are 4 tuners. but I cannot use any of the tuners as they report "all cards busy" So the machine is an HP ML350 Gen8 server running windows 2012 R2 (AKA Windows 8.1). I know this is not "SUPPORTED" but I am sure this is not related to Windows? here is a snippet of the log when it only detects the one tuner: [2014-11-01 11:33:52,739] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - Detect BDA source devices [2014-11-01 11:33:52,755] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Detected new digital BDA tuner device TBS 6984 Quad DVBS/S2 Tuner D @device:pnp:\\?\pci#ven_1131&dev_7160&subsys_00136984&rev_02#4&295f87c&0&00e0#{71985f48-1ca1-11d3-9cc8-00c04f7971e0}\{9bb4f27f-515c-43ca-8e7d-f07c00080503} [2014-11-01 11:33:52,755] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - check type with MS NP [2014-11-01 11:33:52,771] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - network type count = 1 [2014-11-01 11:33:52,771] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - network type 0 = fa4b375a-45b4-4d45-8440-263957b11623 [2014-11-01 11:33:52,771] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - tuner type = DvbS [2014-11-01 11:33:52,771] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Controller: add device TBS 6984 Quad DVBS/S2 Tuner D @device:pnp:\\?\pci#ven_1131&dev_7160&subsys_00136984&rev_02#4&295f87c&0&00e0#{71985f48-1ca1-11d3-9cc8-00c04f7971e0}\{9bb4f27f-515c-43ca-8e7d-f07c00080503} [2014-11-01 11:33:52,786] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Controller: create settings [2014-11-01 11:33:52,802] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - Controller: creating standard handler [2014-11-01 11:33:52,817] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - Controller: current timeshifting folder is "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\timeshiftbuffer" [2014-11-01 11:33:52,896] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Controller: setup streaming [2014-11-01 11:33:53,193] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Scheduler: started [2014-11-01 11:33:53,614] [Log ] [TVService] [INFO ] - Scheduler: loaded 0 schedules [2014-11-01 11:33:53,614] [Log ] [TVService] [DEBUG] - Scheduler: thread started.
