Hello,
first of all: Great forum - great Software, but (of course) I have some initial problems setting up my HTPC with Media Portal.
I have serious problems on scanning the channels in TVServer.
The DVB-C-card is recognized. Scanning is done, however, on every scan only some few channels are found - only of one frequence, sometimes none, sometimes of another frequence.
Example: I completely scan the "Germany cable" frequencies. On one scan I find the all "ARD"-programs on 410000 Mhz, on the next try only "RTL"-Group (on 113000 mHz) etc.
After the scan I can also preview the channels successfully.
If I restart my PC, I cannot preview the channels anymore, the TVServer popups with message "No signal".
If I only kill the TV-Server-Process and restart it, I still can preview.
Does anybody have any idea, what's my problem and how to solve it?
I tested this DVB-C card also with DVBViewer (no problems here) and with TransEdit - also here no problems.
DVBFix is installed (Version of installed Psisdecd.dll: 6.5.2715.2883 Path: C:\APPS\Tools\MEDIAP~2\dvbfix\psisdecd.dll), MediaPlayer 11 as well.
Attached find the tv.log of the TVServer including
start to 11:42: scanning - channels usually on 346000 mHz, found on 71500 mHz the first time???
11:42 to 11:53:35: successful preview, div. tests with recordings etc,
11:53:52: restart of TVServer.exe with successful preview
11:56:26) restart of the HTPC and no preview anymore.
I'm located in Frankfurt/Germany, so my cable-provider is UnityMedia.
Any help apreciated - thank you in advance.
Georg
