Technisat TS35 Remote (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I am trying to use Mediacenter 0.1.0.5.1
I have to tuner cards an haupauge 150 pvr
and one technisat airstar 2. (like skystar just for dvb-t)

my problem is, that I cant run the mediaportal with my technisat
remote (ts35). I tried it in earlier mediaportal versions with the winlirc
plugin (but I think it isnt supported in the newer versions ?)

and now I try to configure mediaportal with the serialuir, but without a
result....the system didnt learn any commands. has anyone an idea
what I can do, or how I can configure serialuir for my remote....

Technisat Remote Control still does not work :-(

Any ideas? It seems its a Serial IR, so, any ideas to get it working?

Hi, Ive looked everywhere for an answer of how to get this remote working with mediaportal???
has anyone got anywhere with this remote.
Mines a serial IR reciver.

I use it with this File. Its a very Simple but i think useful Config.

Hi, i will try it in my poor english

One way is to copy this File into the Mediaportal Folder (C:\documents and settings\all users\mediaportal). Im using a German XP so you have to check the Folders for wrong translation. In every way you should make a backup of the original Keymap.xml before replacing with this one.

The other way is to create it yourself. You can find it in the "Keys and Sounds" Section of the General Configuration.
Here you will have a listing of Keyboard functions. I only use the "General" Subtree and deleted all "Window" Subtrees, but you can do it as you need.

Here you can define Functions and connect it with a "Key". To do this set the Cursor in the Key Field and press the Remotebutton you need to use. This way I built a Basic Remote function and my Family accepted it easily.

In this mode i dont use the Remote-Section in the Mediaportal Configuration, i also dont use Winlirc or something else.
The Remote is installed as a HID-Device with the USB-IR-Reciever and is used like a Keyboard.
