I picked up a technotrend 1401 DVB-S card today from a local supplier. I've installed the card into the PCI slot but windows is not picking it up at all, not even to request drivers. Are there any motherboard compatibility issues with these cards or certain installation procedures to go through before the card can be detected?
I'm running Windows 7 Beta x86 and have tried installing the card in the other PCI slot that my Nvidia NVTV normally works fine in. The card is not showing up in device manager and there are no unknown devices
Thanks
