Technotrend tt-budget s2-1600 does not work with MediaPortal 1.1.3 and 1.2.0 beta (1 Viewer)

Hi anybody,
just setup a new HTPC with Windows XP prof. en 32bit and a TechnoTrend tt-budgert S2-1600 DVB-S Card.
After spending some time looking for some cable problems i found out htat the tv-card is working with TT-View and TT-MediaCenter but does not work with MediaPortal (checked both 1.1.3 and 1.2.0 beta).

Now i ran out of ideas.

Any help appreciated.

I wonder that this card seems to be supported out of the box when i read most of the threads related to it.

Are you using BDA drivers? latest version?, DVB-fix installed

then please give some more details what is not working. Does the card show up in the tv server config?
what results do you get scanning for channels?

TV-Server setup detects the card and allows to scan for channels, but ALL scans show "NO SIGNAL"

Hi Tilman

Please post logs as requested - it is almost impossible to help you without them. There is a link in my signature that tells you how to do it. Its *really* easy:

1. Find the MediaPortal folder in your start menu, and open the "debug mode" shortcut.
2. Use the third option to zip up all your logs and save them to the desktop.
3. Post the logs here.

PS: If you have a problem in the future then please remember to *always* post logs without being asked. It enables us to help you faster!

[Edit: I'm guessing from the screenshot that you're using MP 1.2.0b. Have you tried to set stop mode instead of pause mode? Please read -->this<--]

Hi,
sorry for not posting the logs. I was not aware of this feature. But the debug mode shortcut seems to be not avail when using dedicated server mode.

FYI: I tried 1.1.3 as well as 1.2.0 beta -> same behavior.

Pls. find several compressed logfiles attached.

File log_only_one_scan.... contains logs of ONE scan made with the current config.

I have the same tv-card and using driver TT-budget BDA-driver 5.0.1.8 (16.01.09) on my windows 7 x64 installation and it works perfect in both 1.1.3 and in 1.2.beta.

Ok, in the meantime i bought one of these Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA SE2 and put it into the same PC
-> Works as expected!

No i ran out of ideas and need some more support by the community.
Might be that there are some debugging feature which i can enable to do some more investigations on this issue.
