Hi folks,

i have got a brand new terratec cinergy c pci, and my question is about support of the ci extension. I had a look to Supported TVCard DVBc - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation, but there is no information about this extension!

My cable provider has a base encryption for all digital channels! Uargh!

The card has no ci slot itself, but there is an extension module. Any ideas if this will work within the tvserver?

Thanks,
Dietmar

AFAIK the Terratec cards are similar to the KNC Cards, where a CI module (Cineview is available).
Unfortunately, the CI of KNC is not really working atm, together with MP.
I tried that just last week, with no success.

Best choice for DVB-C is still the FloppyDTV, which works like a charm.

    cheers

    hey,
I also have the Cinergy C PCI with a CAM, it's not recognized at all and my question is whether or not there will be support for this in the future, and maybe who I can email and suggest this to? :) thanks!
