Test bugfix for HVR-4000 and HVR-2200 analog part (1 Viewer)

The modifications are included in RC3, so the analog part of the HVR4000 should work.
Just two possible ideas, what could be the problem:
1.) Card isn't configured as hybrid card
2.) You don't have installed the needed software MPEG-2 ENCODER. Not decoder.

I'm having problems of sync of several seconds on the external analog input (not using analog tuner).

I think this refers to SoftMCE_Setup.EXE which is in the MCE_soft_encoder folder in the Hauppauge drivers. It is not automatically installed as part of the driver install and has to be done separately.

I'm using Mediaportal 1.0 final and after proper use of Digital Sat and terrestial, HD sat channels, I decided to activate the Analog part of the HVR-4000 card without success.

Finally today I found a solution.

As comented in a previous post you have to install the MCE soft encoder that comes with the driver package. But unfortunelly, by some reason, some of the haupauuge filters aren't properly registered by Windows. What I did is manually register all hauppauge*.ax filters I found in my computer following folders:

Windows\system32
Windows\system32\hauppauge
Windows\system32\hauppauge\SoftMCE

also some found in
Program files\Common files\iviSDK\hauppauge

I don't really know wich one is the problematic, so I registered all of them by righ click on all and selecting the option Register ActiveX.
Don't know also if I activate some that really should be inactive but seems to be working everithing properly.

May be is not a gentleman solution but it works.
