okay...thanks for the help. One last question. Does Mediaportal and/or Powerscheduler enable away mode on the machine. From what I've read, you need to enable this by for example editing registry.
PS++ does use away mode and you should not need to modify the registry for that (you can try for yourself, start a recording & press the power button on the machine - you now should enter away mode).
