Another release, another batch of runaway recordings. Look for 'Mock the Week', supposed to be 30min, reset TVService after 3h38m. Yet again it left tuner 1 tuned but idle, tuner 2 recording the runaway and a tuned but idle tuner 2 listing on the same channel. 3rd time so far with RC1 and exactly the same as the last SVN.

To repeat: just use MP hard enough, about every 2 days here. Happens with radio and TV.

Totally virgin RC1 install including 100% mySql removal and reinstall. Front end not used throughout, I only use it to set recordings.

Just noticed: the runaway was the 1st of 3 back2back recordings, with pre and post padding overlap. The 2nd programme appears to have stopped when the 1st should have.

Same situation here.
Within MediaPortal the recording list has the expected length shown however when played the first recording plays for 11hrs which is where I restarted the TVserver to stop it while the second recording only runs for 12min which was the length of the overlap.

Sorry for no logs, I had deleted them in the meantime.

I am also seeing this. I have not yet noticed any pattern to this.

I have attached my logs for a show that should have recorded from 19:00 to 20:00 on Feb-25. The recording started as expected, but just never stopped.

At 22:47 I started MP and manually stopped the recording.

Can confirm this happening, was recording 2 channels on a single transponder, one stopped recording, the other did not, anyone care to try and reproduce to see if that could be what is triggering this happening.

Going to set up a few test scenarios over night, just to see if I can reproduce again.

    Another day,another runaway.

    Consecutive programmes on 'Five' (UK)
    FIVE - NCIS - 2010-03-06 20_00.ts stopped on time
FIVE - CSI_ New York - 2010-03-06 21_00.ts never stopped
    FIVE - Law & Order - 2010-03-06 22_00.ts stopped on time
FIVE - CSI_ Crime Scene Investigation - 2010-03-06 23_00.ts still waiting to see what happens

Recordings on other channels appear intact so far. Maybe this time the fscking bug will make it into the bug tracker :(
