HI
I am a newer using MP. I downloaded a movie via internet, It inclued two files, *.MKV, a video file and *.SRT, an ENGLISH subtiltes file. I had configed subtitles fonts at the"MP configration--video--general-subtitles". But there is
no subtitles when MKV file is playing.
But I selected KMPLAYER as a external play, the subtitles can be displayed when the MKV file is played.
Is that means MP do not support external subtitles file?
THANKs

I have found a solution after check similar thread in the forum.
VOBSUB is necessory.
"VobSub installed with default settings. Shame on you if you do not just install everything using K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.
In MediaPortal Configuration, go to Movies.
Click the Subtitles tab then click Show subtitles.
Expand the Movies tree.
Click Movie Post Processing.
Under the Available filters section, double-click DirectVobSub (auto-loading version). "

Every thing is OK.
thanks the forum!!:D
