When scanning for channels on Thor 5/6, either by a full scan or single frequency scans, the channels on 11785MHz and 12015MHz are all missing.

The snippet below is from the scan of 11785. The channels seems to be found but can't be properly identified (because of 'type:0'?). These channels were all found the last time (which was quite a while ago) I did a scan using mp 1.1.x.

Oh, yes, they are very real. 10785 contains 10 HD channels (or rather 5 uniqe and 5 'duplicates') while 12015 contains 9 HD channels (4+5). Packages: Canal Digital Nordic - KingOfSat

It would be best if you are able to complain to the provider and get them to fix this issue. The requirements are in DVB/ETSI EN300468 v1.11.1 page 68 where service type 0 is listed as "reserved for future use".

Yes, Canal Digital is the provider. I could of course e-mail them, but given the fact that 'their own' STBs as well as 'approved' TVs with integrated DVB-S(2) tuners work just fine I doubt they'll give a hoot about unsupported HTPCs no matter what the standard says...

While I of course agree with you that the providers should get their acts together, in a less than perfect world a perhaps more pragmatic approach would be to add the possibility to 'Ignore type...' to the advanced options? Maybe that could be a solution to [Bug] - Scan for open Qam finds no channels and [no Bug] - Astra 28 missing channels when scanning as well?

I can confirm that the cannels are scanning ok with MP 1.1
Have not tested 1.2
They need very good signal to work.

Well... The channels are found when scanning, they just aren't added because of their type. Having added them manually they work just fine again.

Those channels are transmitted on 10872V and 10903V on Thor6. 11785H should contain ESPN America HD, Nat Geo HD, Canal+ Extra 3D, MTVN HD and Nat Geo Wild HD and 12015H Discovery HD, BBC HD, Animal Planet HD and History Channel HD. Both on Thor 5.

I have tried to do a scan with MP 1.1.3. There I found every channels in my Canal Digital subscription, but after installing MP 1.2.0 Beta I am back to the same problem as reported here.
