Three little Problems with rc3 (2 Viewers)

Hello!
After installing RC3 I've got found three little problems.

1st Autostart no longer work. Neither the music Cd's nor DVD's. It does not matter whether I adjust always autostart or ask before everytime.

2nd In TV-server configuration, I can't add Radio Webstreams using search Shoutcast. No matter what I'll insert what he should search, the results list remains empty. Adding Streams manually works fine.

3rd The advanced mouse control in video files may not function properly. It's me, for example, no longer possible to stop the playing video with the mouse.

Hope someone can help me!

Hi im new to MP, but i can tell you this..
1 and 2 works fine for me.

1. i have in config in MP set it to Auto play when insert of dvd
2. i have not set up the advanced mouse control. my Mp is on default. i just move the mouse to top of screen, and the play controls appear.
or, hit Info (or when in play F9), and i also see play controls, in the bottom

In previous versions was it so as you told by me too. But not in RC3. I'm not able to stop the playback of an video with the mouse. I have tried the skins blue3 und blue2.

strange it works for me. both in Blue3
and in the skinn i use and love Indego 2.2
Maybe some others can help you, i'm a bit new to MP, so i don't know how to fix the problem you have

Yes it this strange! I have this problem on both of my machines. These machines have very different hardware so i think the problem must be in mp.

Did u have the rc3 or the latest svn installed?

rc3 is the lates version out as far as i know.
This is what i have installed: MediaPortalSetup_1.0_RC3_rev20432.exe

Strange if you have this issue on 2 computer..
Try the Indego Skinn

what is your: Show special Mouse controls (scoll bars.) [] set to ???

Mine is set to nothing, [ ] i dont use it..

Mine is set to nothing, [ ] i dont use it..

When i enable it i have some controls but for example i can't stop the movie.

I've thought about it and I have an idea. I talk about the controls when I watch the videofile in fullscrean not in the menu. When I go back to the menu the controllbar you talk about apears at the top of the screen.

Okay thanks, I was trying to search forum first before I posted it as a bug, I tried adding streams manually by inserting URL and it gives me error of "no tuning details added"

I fixed the Autoplay issue. It was a Bug in windows. Here is an manual I used to fix it. Sorry it is in german.

1. Rechtsklick auf das Laufwerk auf den Register "Eigenschaften" -> Autoplay

2. Autoplay aktivieren mit Tweak UI: AutoPlay-Eigenschaften -> Types.
Aktivieren Sie hier nun mindestens Autoplay für CD und/oder DVD und eventuell noch Autoplay für entfernbare Laufwerke ("Wechseldatenträger").

3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom -> Autorun -> 1

4. Systemsteuerung -> Verwaltung -> Dienste -> ShellHardware Erkennung aktivieren

5. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
NoDriveTypeAutoRun = 0x00000095
-und-
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
NoDriveTypeAutoRun = 0x00000095
Der richtige Wert für diese beiden Registrierungsschlüssel lautet 0x00000095.

6. Systemsteuerung -> System -> Gerätemanager -> "CD-ROM" -> Doppelklicken auf das CD-ROM
-> Einstellungen -> „Automatische Benachrichtigung beim Wechsel“ aktivieren

7. „gpedit.msc“ (Gruppenrichtlinien) starten. Öffnen Sie unter »Computerkonfiguration« und »Benutzerkonfiguration«
jeweils den Zweig »Administrative Vorlagen | System«. Klicken Sie in der rechten Fensterhälfte doppelt auf »Autoplay deaktivieren«,
kreuzen Sie »Deaktiviert« an und bestätigen Sie mit »OK«.
