Timeshift/live pause - k/b shortcut missing? (1 Viewer)

Hi again!
I have an imon vfd/remote control,
The vfd works fine on the included display program (apart from the fact I can't change the 'mediaportal not active' message)
The remote - I set it up using the imon software, (using the key shortcuts for MP) most things work well.
The play and pause keys work fine playing music or video but not for the timeshifting on TV.

I can pause tv ok using a mouse though.
I had a look at the wiki and in the keyboard shortcuts for tv there is nothing listed for 'pause' or 'play/resume'
I am presuming (as the buttons don't work in tv) that there are either no shortcut keys for these or, more likley, they are not the same as the keys in 'music'.

Is there a simple way around this?
